A quote I’m thinking about this morning:
“I feel that if I believe for a lot and get even half of it, I am better off than I would be to believe for nothing and get all of nothing.” – Joyce Meyer
Agree? Disagree? Think there’s more to it than this?
Something fun to ponder this weekend :)
This seems like a variation on “false hope is better than no hope at all.” There’s a big difference between a God-given belief, which grows stronger as you face obstacles, and a self-generated belief, which can result in shipwrecked faith. It helps to ask God if what you are believing Him for is really from Him; sometimes it takes a while to discern His answer.
